Moi moi. Moi moi (beans pudding) is one of such Nigerian foods that are loved by every Nigerian. It is made of beans and some other local ingredients. The recipe for beans pudding is not as straight forward as the recipe for porridge beans or even jollof rice but with time and a little keenness, however, You will become great at it..

Moi moi It is very common to see Moi Moi (Moin Moin) served at parties, wedding ceremonies and other festive occasions. Moi Moi (Moin Moin) is usually eaten alone as a meal , but most times it is served with other Nigerian foods such as Pap(Ogi. Moimoi or Moin-Moin is a Nigerian steamed bean pudding made from a mixture of washed and peeled black-eyed peas, onions and fresh ground red peppers (usually a combination of bell peppers and chili or Scotch bonnet).   1. Prepare of Beans.
  2. Prepare of Scotch bonnet.
  3. You need of Onions.
  4. You need of Maggi.
  5. You need of Salt.
  6. Prepare of Boiled egg.

  9. It's of Dry pepper.

Moi moi instructions

  1. Wash the beans and remove all the dirts.
  2. Put Scotch bonnet and red bell jar, take it to grinding machine to become softer.
  3. Boil the egg and cuts into 4 and put it inside, put maggi,fish,salt,chopped onions, some vegetable oil. Turn it well and place it in a container or small white nylon. Place water to boil put them inside to cooked for 35min.Eat with dry pepper and palm oil if you like you can eat it like that.

It is commonly seen accompanying Jollof Rice, Fried Rice, Fried Plantain, Custard, Akamu (Pap, Ogi) etc. It can even be eaten alone as a snack with a chilled soft drink to wash it down. Moi Moi is a traditional Nigerian dish of steamed bean pudding made from a base of beans and peppers. When the beans are soft, rub them together to take the skins off.
